Engraved wooden box - Model 2

It is a square wooden box, hand-engraved with a combination of plant and traditional motifs.

It measures about 12cm long, 12cm wide, and 5.5cm high.

Even though the design is original, it is inspired by a traditional motif and hand-engraved, as we say. It's a unique piece.

It is stained with Judean bitumen to darken the wood and highlight the grain so that the engraving, which shows the lighter color of the wood, stands out more.

It can be used as a jewelry box or to store other personal belongings.

Hexapetals are apotropaic symbols. This means they are traditionally used for protection against evil influences such as illness, curses, the evil eye, plagues, etc.
