The pendant is made of bronze or 925 sterling silver, solid in both cases. It measures about 2.8 cm long, about 2.5 cm wide and 0.5 cm thick.

The piece has been carved by hand in wax, cast in metal using the lost wax technique and each pendant is finished by hand, one by one. The price includes a 50cm black leather or rubber cord, to choose from, and a silver clasp. It is made to order.

This book-shaped piece represents "De Vermis Mysteriis" ("The Mysteries of the Worm"), a mythical grimoire that first appears in the story "The Star Vampire" by Robert Bloch and was later incorporated by H.P. Lovecraft in the imaginary of the Cthulhu myths, being also the one who gives him the title in Latin. Later other related authors would also mention it in his works, as is the case of Stephen King and his story "The Mysteries of the Worm" ("Jerusalem's Lot", 1978).

In the Lovecraftian universe, "De Vermis Mysteriis" is a grimoire written by Ludwig Prinn, a Belgian crusader who lived between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, and who was sentenced by the Inquisition to die at the stake. This book is divided into several chapters where esoteric knowledge about various entities is collected as well as spells and rituals to invoke these beings.

"Tibi, magnum Innominandum, signa stellarum nigrarum et bufoniformis Sadoquae sigillum"
