The Acanthus collection is inspired by the shapes of the Acanthus leaves, a typical decorative motif on Corinthian capitals. It also appears in Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau art. It is a plant that has traditionally been associated with good fortune but also, within funerary symbolism, represents the cycle of life, death and resurrection.
