This choker is made on request.
Silver choker featuring four lunar phases (full moon, waning quarter, new moon and waxing quarter).
Each phase is formed by a silver wire outline, simulating the moon’s halo, and within this circle is the silhouette of the phase. For the full moon, the outline is completely filled in, with a solid interior. For the quarter moons, the plate is open-worked in the shape of the quarter, with the rest of the outline left empty; for the new moon, there is no filling, just the outline made from wire.
Between each phase there are three small rings, acting as links, which join the sections together and allow the bracelet to be hinged. At each end, to fasten the piece, there is a section of rolo chain – fine yet sturdy.
The entire piece is made of 925 sterling silver, open-worked and soldered by hand.
Each phase measures approximately 1 cm in diameter, and almost 2 cm in width including the rings on either side. The set of four phases measures a total of 7.5 cm in length.
The choker measures 48.5 cm from end to end, including a 5 cm extension chain, so you can adjust the length to suit you. If you need it longer, please contact me before placing your order. A length greater than the standard may result in an increase in the price of the piece.
